Shipra English to Hindi Dictionary is a useful application for English speakers that want to learn Hindi or just need to quickly find the Hindi equivalent for an English word. You can easily find the translation of the word by writing the English word in the top left text area.

The interface is comprised by four areas that enable you to write the English word, to view the list of all the words that start with the same letters, to check the placement of the word in the entire dictionary and to view the Hindi translation.

The dictionary can provide you with multiple equivalent translations if the English word has more than one meaning in Hindi. All of the translations are displayed in the bottom panel.

The dictionary has a good response; the listing of the words is done almost instantly. It actually depends on the CPU of your computer but the program is not a resource hog. It requires about 4 MB of RAM to function properly, so you can keep it running at all times without experiencing an impact on the computer performance.

The dictionary has a large word database and it is extremely easy to use, regardless of your computer skills. Results are returned as you type and the only requirement is to be familiar as far as Hindi language is concerned.
